A recent experience that inspired you creatively?
A vacation to Mallorca recharges me creatively. I return each year, feeling renewed and inspired, with fresh energy to create, after feeling drained before the trip. For three years, it’s been my go-to for positive energy.
An artist or designer that you admire, and what about their work resonates with you?
I admire many artists and designers, especially John Galliano and Tom Ford from the '90s and 2000s. Their work still influences my own today, and there are many others who continue to inspire me!
Favourite way to get out of a creative rut?
To break a creative rut, I organise my archive or books, do yoga, or walk my dog to clear my mind. I always end up back at work, as I’m a perfectionist and nothing feels perfect to me.
The last place you visited that you can't stop thinking about?
Without a doubt, the one I mentioned earlier—Mallorca, my happy place.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
My ideal superpower would probably be the power of healing, because I believe that being healthy in both mind and body is the greatest goal for living a happy life. And above all, being able to heal everyone from everything seems like the greatest gift one could wish for.
If you were a character in a movie or book, who would you be and why?
It's been years since I focused on a character, but as a child, I loved Hannah Montana. The duality of her life fascinated me—the idea of having a simple life with friends, while secretly being recognised for a unique talent that brings personal satisfaction without the need for bragging.
What's your favourite quote or saying that you live by?
Let karma take care of it.
Best gift you've ever received?
One of my favorite gifts, which I hold dear to my heart, is a Jean Paul Gaultier dress from Fall ’94 that my boyfriend gave me shortly after we met. He found it and sent it to me even before our first official meeting, and to this day, it remains my most treasured gift.
Your favourite way to spend a weekend?
My favorite weekend is a mini trip in Europe, exploring new places in search of vintage finds and charming little restaurants. It’s my favorite way to spend time.
